around the studio...

some sneak peaks of works in progress, or the beautiful mess surrounding the process. in making my terrariums i like to play a lot with my little findings. i believe that if you develop their personalities right away, introduce them to the space... i discover who they are and what homes to put them in. i am kind of a like a match maker of sorts.

the painter

i keep experimenting with my terrariums and this is one of my favorite results. i am going to continue with these series of painters... in the meantime check out this guy. psst, the air plant is blooming!

another recent custom terrarium. this one is for the lovely kate of hello victory. i made the chairs! they were challenging little bits of furniture - but fun too! i learned so much in the process and welcome any one else's request for custom furniture! bring it on!

i made this little cutie a week or so again for my very talented artist friend jemima wyman. the lady is wildly creative! so making her a little treasure was an exciting challenge. the scenario here is for you to decide. but it certainly stems from some lady performance art references. once a feminist always a feminist. even when making terrariums!

i have been busy making lots of custom jobs. busy busy busy. i always love to grab a little shot of the little folks in my world before they are put in their new homes...

just when i thought i was done making terri planty terrariums for the day. i was NOT! i made more! and i am totally digging these too. i could have made even more tonight but a girl has gotta get her sleep at some point.
